At Willamette Valley Christian, we've provided students with a Christ-centered
education building on high academic standards since 1967.

Description
Willamette Valley Christian School is a private Christian school located in Brooks, Oregon. It is near Salem and serves mid-valley youth in grades P-12. The school exists to provide the spiritual, as well as the mental, physical, and social growth of their youth. As a Christian school, Willamette Valley Christian School has a specific philosophy of education which is rooted in its Articles of Faith.
The curriculum has been designed to provide excellent academic training for the students as well as a solid Christian foundation upon which to build a life. Various textbooks are used which incorporate the school’s faith-based academic philosophy.
Classes are kept small to provide greater opportunities for learning and individual attention. The objectives are to promote self-discipline within the student by training the student to be consistent and responsible in attitude, character, and actions.

Graduation Requirements
WVCS high school credit hour requirements exceed the Oregon state standard for graduation. Science, mathematics, social studies, and language courses offered to prepare students for college entrance requirements. Guidance personnel work to establish an individualized course of study suited to each student’s educational goals.
Concurrent College Credits
Willamette VCS students can get ahead on their careers by taking classes taught to the university standards. These credits can be transferred upon graduation and help WVCS students get a head start and save college tuition money. The courses are offered in conjunction with NW Nazarene in History, Science, and Math.
Extracurricular Programs
An elected student council gives the students opportunities for leadership and interaction with peers, faculty, and the administration. Students are involved in athletics, choral, speech, chapel presentations, ministry outreach, academic competitions, drama, class representatives, and the yearbook production.
