Western Christian School was established in 1945 on a beautiful 45-acre wooded campus located 10 miles northwest of Salem in the Willamette Valley. Western Christian, accredited through the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools, offers an excellent academic program within a strong community of faith.

Western Christian School, grades 6-12, is dedicated to quality education and the spiritual nurture of their students. Excellent teachers and staff give of themselves to help students realize their potential spiritually, academically, and socially. A real sense of community and family exists here. Small group meetings, low student/teacher ratio, and dorm life develop personal, mentoring relationships between faculty and students.
Western Christian School offers significant opportunities for students. With 220 students enrolled and a student/teacher ratio of 16:1, personalized attention is a benefit provided.
International Program
Western has a rich tradition of accepting international students from around the world. Students from over 38 countries have made Western’s residence program their home. There are 23 international students from six countries enrolled. The international program creates a special opportunity for students to have first-hand knowledge of not only the American culture, but other cultures and global issues.
